Peru - Cajamarca Cafe Garmas Gesha, 12 oz

Our first Gesha for sale! I've been searching for a while to find a Gesha that would meet our standards here at Tacet. I don't know the reason, but Gesha's don't seem to be what they were 5 years ago (weather, climate and politics, I assume). However, this microlot from Peru is a real treat. A coffee sure to elicit an audible response from those drinking it! A strong floral overtone follows the citrus fruity taste. I doubled my order for the shop after my first tasting! Even so, there is a limited quantity available, so grab them while you can.

P.S. As you may know, the Gesha plants produce less fruit than other varietals. That results in a higher price point per kg for the farmer (yay!), but makes these beans quite expensive throughout the supply chain!
